Today I changed all 6 plugs and coils, and it seems to be doing the same thing. 2ef7 is a stat problem, maby temp sensor, maby a stat, could also be a leak i guess.Best to get them checked again to see which have returned as some could be from a previous fault that was fixed but the code wasnt erased. I drove home in limp mode and pulled the codes. I pulled over and reset the codes and the CEL light came on and car went to limp mode instantly. If more than one code is stored, the first code will blink, followed by a 3 second pause and then the second code will blink. I got on it a little, not WOT, and it stumbled and went to limp mode again. 2ef7 Map Thermostat Activation When one DTC is stored in memory, that code will blink that number of times followed by a 3 second pause and then repeat. Car fired right up and drove fine, no codes, for about 10 miles. I got off at the next exit and read codes and reset all codes. Like title says, WOT on freeway, car stumbled and went into limp mode.
